The Artist
Glenn Harris
A lifetime of architecture taught me to see. Art gave me the freedom to ask: What if?
Glenn Harris is a New Orleans–area Design Architect and Fine Artist whose work brings together architectural accuracy, expressive linework, watercolor, texture and historical storytelling.
After decades devoted to architecture, planning, landscape architecture and construction, he returned to serious art creation in January 2026 at 84-plus years old. His work celebrates the buildings, landscapes, culture and memories that give a place its soul.
Each piece begins with observation and develops through experimentation—always preserving the character of the subject while exploring what it might become.
